Consecutive interpretation implies the speaker making logical pauses to allow the interpreter to convey the meaning in the foreign language. As a rule, consecutive interpretation is used at the events with small number of participants - negotiations, presentations, briefings, press-conferences, workshops and trainings.
Most typical situations with consecutive interpretations:
| Negotiations, including by phone; | |
| Workshops, meetings, round-tables and other forms; | |
| Briefings, press-conferences, presentations, standing parties, celebrations; | |
| Interpretations at courts, interrogations, notarisation of documents; | |
| Excursions for your guests, meet-and-greet; |
We select a good interpreter as fast as reasonably practical, but always remember that selection of interpreter largely depends on the criticality of discussion, type, place and duration of event. Thus we request you to place your order for consecutive translation beforehand. The earlier you place the order, the more time and opportunity we have to find the best interpreter.
Also, we would like to have pre-reading materials for the event to allow the interpreter better prepare for the event, to 'be in the know' and demonstrate high quality interpretation.
