Makarenko Sergey - general director
Sergey is one of Atlantis lingua's founders and has managed the business since its infancy. He manages Atlantis lingua team of Translators & Interpreters on a day to day basis. Sergey is responsible for making sure your requirements are not just met, but exceeded. Previously he worked as Head of Translation for a major project of SEIC (Sakhalin Energy Investment Company Ltd.), for 4 years. His roles in Atlantis-Lingua include co-ordinating the work of more than 50 translators and managing the liaison with corporate clients. Sergey’s team offers the expertise of in-country translators and interpreters combined with ‘best in class’ document security, and a new approach towards translation verification not seen on Sakhalin before.
The art of translation is as old as written literature. Developments since the Industrial Revolution have influenced the practice of translation. The Internet has helped expand the market for translation and has facilitated product localization. Currently, some 75% of professional translators work with technical and contractual texts. We are ready to provide these 75% to you with finest quality.
Olesya Makarenko - financial director
Finance professional with more than nine years of experience in corporate finance, investment
portfolio management, joint ventures, capital asset oversight and investor relations. Analytical
and logical thinker with a strong background in multinational financial areas. She has got strong background in strategic and organizational planning, risk
management, joint venture negotiation and business development.
Julian Waldemar-Brown - senior partner
Julian comes to Atlantis lingua with a wealth of corporate management experience from various industries. He spent the last 4.5 years as Head of Corporate Security for Sakhalin Energy (Sakhalin II Project and Operations), and prior to that with the world’s fourth largest tobacco company (Imperial Tobacco). Julian has a keen eye for clear and correct communication having worked globally and interfaced between international clients and native speakers for many years.
